IMPORTANT CHARGING INFORMATION:		IMPORTANT USER INFORMATION:
Charge only with a regulated DC voltage source of 13v8 for continuous trickle such as is given by the domestic MC-240 charger or regulated aircraft DC supply. Do not charge with a NiCad battery charger like the one that comes with your ICOM radio. These charge at constant current and will cause damage to a lead/acid "gel" battery. Do not charge with a car battery charger. They are not regulated and will cause damage to a lead/acid "gel" battery. Do not charge with reversed polarity. This will cause damage to a lead/acid "gel" battery.		Unlike NiCad batteries, Lead Acid batteries do not develop low capacity memory when charged after shallow discharge. In fact L/A batteries benefit from being kept fully charged (float condition), or regular top-up charges, rather than being deeply discharged and recharged. Do not leave a deeply discharged lead/acid "gel" battery flat for any length of time. This can cause irreversible damage resulting in permanent reduced capacity of the battery.

		These batteries contain LEAD which is a HEAVY METAL HARMFUL TO HUMANS and the ecosystem in general. Recycle ALL dead batteries responsibly.
