This PTT interface provides paramotor pilots and other solo pilots with a direct PTT interface to non-airband, licence-free radios  using the FLYCOM flying helmet and PMR transceivers such as IC-4088SR (shown left).

The Paramotor PTT interface is shown (above right) with the FLYCOM flying helmet lead un-plugged in the top R/H side. The radio patch lead is coiled and has twin jacks to the radio external speaker/mike sockets.

Complete lack of background noise through the mike in standby (Rx) mode.

Suitable for all radios which accepts an external hand speaker/mike including all PMR or PBR or walkie-talkie transceivers including the older A2, A20 transceivers.

l

Side tone provided by your radio if available. (No side tone on older A2 and A20 radios)
l PTT is a momentary toggle switch for positive action and uses double sided Velcro for fixing.

l

Paramotor customers are advised to order a FLYCOM flying helmet with a short helmet lead.

This PTT interface provides solo pilots with a direct PTT interface to airband radios with 150 ohm (low impedance) mike inputs like the IC-A6E
(shown bottom left)

The Solo PTT interface is shown (right) with the FLYCOM flying helmet lead un-plugged in the top R/H side. The radio patch lead is coiled and has twin jacks to the radio external speaker/mike sockets.
(3.5mm speaker. 2.5mm mike)

The interface is a modified ICOM HM-112 hand speaker/mike and has a rotating belt clip for mounting in any attitude. In this adaptation the original usage as a hand speaker/mike is disabled.
